Once upon a time there were stairs with hundreds of steps, for those in good shape, to reach and especially to return from the must swim bay of Platia Ammos, but these were damaged in the 2014 earthquake so now it’s (safely) accessible only by the sea, as well as the Halkes bay another secluded cove on the Paliki peninsula known for the most diverse pebbles we always love to explore.

There are two more well know symbols of Paliki, one is Xi beach famous for its reddish colored sand and clay rocks and as well Vardiani Island (or Rabbit Island, because rumour has it that once the only inhabitants of the island were wild rabbits) a nice spot for snorkelling.
